At Gloss Lash Lounge, our school-based work experience program is designed to give you a real feel for what it’s like in the beauty industry. If you’re still in school and curious about becoming a lash&brow artist or working in a salon one day, this is your chance to step inside, ask questions, and see how it all works behind the scenes.
You won’t be thrown in at the deep end — you’ll shadow the team, learn how a professional salon runs, and get a true insight into the skills, standards, and confidence it takes. It’s all about helping you explore your interests in a supportive, friendly environment and decide if this exciting industry is right for you.
Our Work Experience Program is a supportive, behind-the-scenes opportunity created for students who are curious about the beauty world and want to see what working in a salon is really like.

• Shadowing real client appointments alongside our experienced team

How it Works
We offer a limited number of placements throughout the year to make sure every student gets a meaningful, supportive experience. Each student joining us through their school will be guided by a senior member of the Gloss team and follow a structured schedule that includes:
• A welcome introduction to our salon and how we work
• Shadowing real client appointments
• Learning about daily salon tasks and responsibilities
• Time to ask questions and reflect on what you’ve learned
