  • Will I receive a govenment accreditation? Short answer: No — and here’s why.

    To be nationally recognised in Australia, a course must be delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). RTO courses follow government training packages and reporting requirements, which often increases the cost due to compliance and audit obligations.

    I’ve intentionally chosen not to operate as an RTO because I want to keep my training accessible, affordable, and focused on real-world, industry-ready skills — not government paperwork.

  • Do you need to be an accredited Lash Tech? The beauty industry (including eyelash extensions) is currently unregulated in Australia.

    You do not legally need:

    • An RTO qualification to start your own lash business

    • An RTO certificate to gain insurance

    • A nationally recognised qualification to work in a salon

    Most salon owners focus on:
